What a charming concept! And now here it is again, digitally. Or at least as digital as anything like this can be: really, it's a pretty embodied affair. Book recommendations that I asked for in-person, descriptions we hand-wrote, and a fulfillment plan that breaks down to "I see your order and get the book off Amazon and forward it to you."
There's something almost romantic to the fuzzy borders where the worlds of bits and atoms meet.
I am deeply grateful to the people whose thoughtful work has made all this possible.
